Blog Features

In My Poppy Bookbag:  This feature is exclusively titled by me.  It is so named after my poppy book bags (yes I have 2) that I use to tote around my current reads in.  Often times this feature will be combined with staking the shelves, but other times it will be a stand alone.  These posts will feature the books I'm currently reading so you can expect to see a full review of these titles with in a week or two.

YA Appeal: (Name subject to change)  This feature is also exclusively titled by me.  Books in Bloom is primarily a YA blog, but as I work with High School students I often read books with them in mind.  If I come across an adult a book that I think teens would enjoy I'll review it. Some examples of books I would say have YA Appeal are: Memoirs of A Geisha (I was in high school when I first read this), The Tea Rose, and the Night Circus. If you are a teen looking to break away from YA for a little bit or maybe an adult who loves YA but every once in awhile needs a break from it books featured in YA Appeal are a great place to start!

Staking the Shelves: Is a meme hosted  by Tynga's Reviews.  Staking the Shelves is where I showcase the new books that I've added to my personal library, gotten from the LMC or my public library or revived from publishers.

Feature & Follow (Fridays): Is a weekly meme hosteed by Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read. Every week feature a different blog and post a question.  Each week bloggers create there own F&F post answering the question and linking back.   It's a great way to meet other book bloggers and gain new followers!
